This Kiln, MS homeowner discovered termites after they came through the living room sheetrock. The termites had eaten sections of the wall and a supporting beam of the porch. Using temporary supports we were able to replace the damaged wood. We replaced the stucco with Hardie siding and replaced wood wrapped columns with Hardie for a more durable and maintenance friendly finish. We updated the electrical fixtures and removed excess plant and mulch debris from the house edges to prevent future termites. We also saved the homeowner money by utilizing existing door and windows.
